45 riders and two carriages at the start

Glashofen. The Glashofen Riding and Driving Club (RuF) held its 21st Horse Olympics in 2024 at its driving facility in Glashofen.

Eight stations to master

The club welcomed 47 participants in glorious sunshine. Between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., 45 riders and two carriage drivers set off on the approximately 15-kilometer-long route through the fields of Glashofen, completing a total of eight stations along the way.

At the final award ceremony at 4:30 p.m., chairman Klaus Baumann thanked all participants and welcomed local mayor Erich Bundschuh. Bundschuh said it was very important that club life in Glashofen remained active.

He thanked all club members and helpers for their efforts.

After Baumann thanked the sponsors, the chairman honored the following participants: In the adult group, the club placed 21 of 32 participants, in the youth group all ten participants, in the children group all three participants and in the carriage drivers group all two participants.

Among the participating children (0 to 12 years), Ylvi Weidner, horse lover Hoepfingenwith 1st place ahead of Lena Walter, 2nd place, and Paula Dittrich, 3rd place (both from RuF Glashofen).

In the youth group (13 to 17 years), Sina Nießner from RuF Remlingen took first place, ahead of Romi Rusch in second place and Jannik Weismann from RuF Walldürn in third place.

Johanna Fessner from RuF Külsheim led the adult group with 1st place, ahead of Shauny Müller from Pferdefreunde Höpfingen, 2nd place, and Nina Freudenberger from RuF Schefflenz, 3rd place.

Lisa Nebauer led her team to success with 1st place ahead of Veranga Hotz 2nd place (both from RUF Breitenbronn).

The RuF Eichenbühl had the largest group this year with six participants.
