In Outlook you can save your emails directly as PDFs. The format has many advantages. We’ll show you how to turn your emails into PDFs.

To convert an email into a PDF document, you need an additional program for most email services. Microsoft Outlook has already integrated this function into its own mailer. This means you can transfer and save your emails in PDF format directly from your mailbox.

The PDF format is still the standard, especially for professional email traffic, and many companies and firms use it exclusively. As a universal format, a PDF file can still be opened and viewed on almost any device without the need for a specific writing program. To convert your emails directly into a PDF with Outlook, follow these steps:

    You can save emails that you convert to PDF with Outlook either on your computer or in a folder in your Outlook. First, open the email you want to convert by double-clicking it. Now click on “File” in the menu at the top and then on “Save as”.

    Now, in the next window, select where you want to save the email as a PDF. This could be a folder on your computer, for example. If you wish, you can enter a title for the email/PDF document under “File name”. Click on the save location and then select “Save” at the bottom.

Your email will now appear as a PDF in the location you selected. From here you can continue to use it, for example as an email attachment.
