Janhvi Kapoor enjoys a quick meal at home while promoting Devara 1

Janhvi Kapoor is a foodie who continues to advocate for good food and a healthy lifestyle despite her busy schedule. She is currently busy promoting her latest film Devara: Part 1, which releases today, September 27. Amidst the last minute promotional plans, she took some time out to enjoy a delicious meal at her home. The actress shared a photo of her sumptuous meal on her Instagram stories.

The meal included, among other things, ragi roti, rice, three to four types of sabzi, mixed vegetable spaghetti, fish curry, chicken salad and what appeared to be noodles with white sauce. We can also spot a wiped and scraped plate that appeared to belong to Janhvi. It proves how much the diva enjoyed her meal. “For a brief minute, it’s a welcome home,” Janhvi wrote.

Janhvi’s culinary stories are known to everyone. No doubt, her Devara co-star Jr. NTR is fully aware of this. However, he once teased the actress for not sending him food when he was in her city. The Telugu superstar was seen playfully complaining about Janhvi as the two went on a promotional spree for comedy reality show The Great Indian Kapil Show.

The actor mentioned that he sent Janhvi good food when she was shooting in Hyderabad but did not receive any favors from her as he arrived in Mumbai for the promotions. “When she was shooting in Hyderabad, I sent her good food twice. I have been in Mumbai for a day now, she hasn’t even sent me a bite of food. Not to mention the food she prepared herself, she didn’t even send me food from a restaurant,” he said, making the actress blush.

This wasn’t the first time we were introduced to Janhvi’s culinary explorations. Earlier, Janhvi had shared a glimpse of a delicious meal from the Devara sets. It was when she was shooting for the film in Hyderabad. For those unfamiliar, a song from the film was shot in Shamshabad on the outskirts of the city. She shared a picture on her Instagram stories that shows her enjoying her meals on set. “I. Love. Shoot. For Devara,” her caption read above the photo, followed by a few emojis. The picture gave a clear glimpse of a dining table with various South Indian foods.

Devara: Part 1 contains several songs in the 2 hour 45 minute long film. The list includes Chuttamalle, Fear Song, All Hail The Tiger, Daavudi, Dheere Dheere, Paththavaikkum and many others. Janhvi Kapoor features in two songs including a fast-paced, peppy track, Daavudi and Chuttamalle, a romantic song in which Janhvi’s character Thangam sings about her feelings for Jr NTR’s character.
