FA Cup: Bishop’s Cleeve wants ‘dream’ to continue against Chesham

Bishop’s Cleeve beat Torquay thanks to a Ross Langworthy brace and Ethan Dunbar’s goal in a draw described as the greatest game in the Southern League Division One South side’s history.

“Suddenly it put us on the football map. People called me from all over Europe and didn’t believe in the result and how convincing the performance was,” said Collicutt.

“It took me a while to realize the result. I was on a high. You just dream about it. There are ups and downs over the years, but when you have a game like this it puts everything into perspective.”

If they can repeat the feat against Chesham, they will achieve their best ever FA Cup run by reaching the fourth qualifying round – one step ahead of the first round proper.

“I’m very excited and really looking forward to it,” the Mitres boss added.

“Chesham will be well prepared, they are a solid side and they have made a good start to the league so it will be a very difficult game for us.”

“The boys will be ready. If we show up we give them a game, if we don’t show up we get beat.”
