GB News stars furious over Boris Johnson’s Megxit revelation: ‘Questionable verdict’ | Television & Radio | Showbiz and television

Boris Johnson intervened at the last minute to prevent ‘Megxit’ in January 2020 – and this morning it sparked an explosive debate on GB News.

Spiked Online’s deputy editor Fraser Myers criticized his support for the former royal couple as showing his “questionable judgment”. It turns out the tense conversation took place “on the sidelines of an African-British investment summit” – and Boris’s success was very limited.

“Harry obviously didn’t come back. He just couldn’t do it,” it was revealed this morning. Then Fraser Myers came in and asked: “No offense to Boris Johnson, but why would you ask the Prime Minister to interfere in a family matter?”

He joked that Boris “got Brexit done but couldn’t prevent Megxit”. Without pausing, he then added: “I think any advice from Boris, particularly about women, should come with a health warning!”

He also stormed: “Another thing Boris said in his memoirs is that Harry and Meghan are huge assets for the UK, which I think shows his questionable judgment!”

He added that he felt the two had “tarnished themselves” through their commercial dealings with brands like Netflix.

Fraser also addressed Harry’s controversial tell-all autobiography “Spare,” in which he claimed his brother Prince William was physically violent toward him and recounted his drug exploits, including inhaling nitrous oxide, which gave pregnant Meghan pain while giving birth should alleviate.

“After revealing everything there is to know about the royal family, [the biography] “It’s a bit unseemly,” he exclaimed

Boris’s attempt to persuade the royal couple to stay is covered in his new autobiography. in which he reveals that the “male encouragement” he demanded was “utterly hopeless.”

They reportedly chatted for 20 minutes on the sidelines of the government’s UK-Africa Investment Summit, which was held in the Thames Docklands area.

However, just hours later, Harry gave an emotional speech in which he claimed there was “no other option” but to step down as a working member of the royal family.

During the speech he stated: “Our hope was to continue to serve the Queen, the Commonwealth and my military units, but without public funding. Unfortunately that wasn’t possible.”

“I would withdraw my family from everything I have ever known to take a step forward into what I hope will be a more peaceful life.”
