Insa survey: Greens gain after party leadership resigns – AfD loses

Due to the resignation of the party leadership, the Greens appear to have increased in favor with voters. In the new Insa Sunday trend, the party is making gains compared to the previous week. The FDP once again breaks the five percent hurdle, which the AfD loses.

In the Insa Sunday trend, which is carried out for “Bild am Sonntag”, the Greens have 11 percentage points this week – that is one percent more than in the previous week. The party’s survey results had recently continued to deteriorate, and now the resignation of the board of directors around Ricarda Lang and Omid Nouripour seems to be having an effect. Insa boss Hermann Binkert confirmed that the Greens will benefit from the resignation of their chairwoman.

FDP fails again at the five percent hurdle, AfD loses one percentage point

The Union remains the strongest force with 32 percent. Behind them comes the AfD, which has lost one percentage point compared to the previous week, with 19 percent. The Chancellor’s SPD remains at 15 percent, the FDP fails again at the five percent hurdle and only reaches four percent. This means that currently only a grand coalition of the CDU and SPD would achieve a government majority with 47 percent.
