Razer launched Sensa HD Haptics with Rumble cushion Freyja for gaming and office chairs

In addition to the new Kraken V4 Pro gaming headset, the Freyja Rumble seat pad is the second Razer product to introduce the well-known gaming hardware manufacturer’s new “Razer Sensa HD Haptics” series. But while the rumble function on the Kraken V4 Pro is just one of many features, Razer Freja is the heart of the new “HD Haptics” series, with the seat pad intended to convey hits from opponents and vibrations up close and thus ensure more immersion.

The Razer Freyja rumble mat can be connected either via the Razer HyperSpeed ​​​​Wireless USB dongle (2.4 GHz) or via Bluetooth. Due to several rumble motors inside the mat, Freyja requires a separate power supply, which, however, has a click lock and is therefore automatically released if the cable is accidentally pulled. On the left side of the rumble mat there is, among other things, an on/off switch and buttons for adjusting the vibration strength.

As usual from Razer, the new “HD Haptics” rumble feature is configured in the Synapse software, version 4 of which was released at RazerCon 2024. With the immersive rumble mat Razer Freyja you can not only play games, but also experience the bass of music first hand. The “HD Haptics” feature can optionally generate vibrations based on the audio output, which theoretically means the mat supports any game.

In addition, thanks to plugins for various game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity, game manufacturers can offer their own “Razer Sensa HD Haptics” profile for their titles. Directly at the launch of Razer Freyja, Final Fantasy 16, Hogwarts Legacy, Silent Hill and Snowrunner, among others, offer individually adapted Rumble profiles Razer Freyja and the Kraken V4 Pro headset.

The Razer Freyja rumble cushion for gaming and office chairs is now available to order at a price of 299.99 euros in the Razer online store and at selected Razer product retailers worldwide.
