Tre Harris receives national recognition after a standout performance against Georgia Southern

Ole Miss was the most explosive offense in college football through the first four weeks of the season. The Rebels lead the country in scoring (55 PPG), passing (422.8 yards) and total offense (670.8 yards).

Coach Lane Kiffin’s team moved to 4-0 with a 52-13 win over Georgia Southern and finished with 607 yards.

Wide receiver Tre Harris was the star of the show on Saturday, catching 11 passes for 225 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of those touchdowns went for 70 yards.

With his tremendous performance, Harris was named the Reese’s Senior Bowl Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

He shared the award with Shedeur Sanders, who helped lead the Colorado Buffaloes to a wild 38-31 overtime win over Baylor late Saturday night.

Harris has been phenomenal for the Rebels all season, leading the team with 38 catches for 628 yards and 4 touchdowns. He is second nationally in receiving yards, trailing only San Jose State’s Nick Nash.

The Rebels and Harris will be back in action in Week 5 as they host the Kentucky Wildcats at home. Ole Miss has started the year great, but the level of competition will soon rise to new heights as SEC play begins in October.
