Eighth man charged over alleged unlawful detention of woman in Dublin

Charges have now been laid against the eighth man involved in the alleged unlawful detention of a woman at a property in Dublin on Thursday 26 September.

The man, in his 40s, was arrested along with seven other men, including a teenager, following an attack on a woman in Bolton Street, Dublin 7, on Thursday.

Yesterday seven of the men involved were charged and appeared at Dublin Criminal Court.

Today the eighth man was charged and is due to appear in court Criminal Courts on Monday morning, September 30, at 10:30 a.m.

The woman was taken to hospital due to injuries she sustained in the alleged attack.

Gardaí say inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
