😳 Red drama and seven goals: TSG and Werder are completely freaking out

After the 4:4 draw between 1.FC Köln and Karlsruher SC this afternoon, people thought that there couldn’t be a crazier game that day. It looks like that was far from it. After 40 minutes the score is 3-3 between TSG Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen, and the goals seem to be scored every minute.

At first it looked as if Matarazzo’s Hoffenheim team would get rid of their frustration today and temporarily save the coach’s life. After twelve minutes, the Kraichgauers were leading 3-0 – the game seemed as good as decided. What they couldn’t have expected from TSG’s perspective was that Stanley Nsoki would pick up the red box in the 18th minute due to an emergency stop – the tipping point of the party.

Suddenly the Kickers from the Weser played completely free and scored the goal in the 21st and 26th minutes to make it 3-2 before Jens Stage was able to equalize in the 39th minute – absolute madness! Mind you: the first half of this game is only over. If the Hoffenheimers don’t pull themselves together in the second half of the game and pull the cart out of the mud, this game could finally bring down Matarazzo’s coaching chair.

From TSG’s perspective, the second half will be no less disastrous. Bremen now leads 4:3.
