(MENAFN-UkrinForm) A man was injured by a drone dropping ammunition in Kherson.

This was reported in the Telegram of the Kherson regional military command, Ukrinform reports.

“Another resident of Kherson was injured by a drone dropping ammunition. At the time of the strike, the 51-year-old man was on the street. He suffered a blast injury and a shrapnel wound to the leg. Doctors are providing assistance to the victim,” the post said.

At the same time, the head of the military administration of the city of Kherson, Roman Mrochko, said that the wounded man was 47 years old.

“When the enemy dropped explosives from a drone in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson at around 4:30 p.m., a man born in 1977 suffered mine blast trauma, an injury to the left leg and a fracture to the right leg,” Mrochko said.

According to reports, this is not the first drone attack on Kherson on September 29th. In the morning, a 56-year-old man was injured in the Dniprovsky district. A minibus was also attacked in the afternoon, but no one was injured.
