Risk of injury from glass splinters in pasta sauce

Risk of injury from glass splinters in pasta sauce

A pasta sauce is currently being recalled at Aldi. There is a high risk of injury due to broken glass.

Hügli Food GmbH is recalling Cucina Nobile pasta sauce in the 400 ml jar of the Arrabbiata variety with the best-before date of August 11, 2025. The reason is possible pieces of glass in the product.

As “Productwarning.eu” reports, isolated pieces of glass may be contained. This poses a significant health risk as glass splinters can cause injuries to the mouth and throat as well as internal injuries or bleeding.
