Globus Baumarkt: Get involved with World Cleanup Day

In September 2024, all 90 Globus hardware stores and the Völklingen company headquarters took part in World Cleanup Day for the first time – with 489 trainees, trainee sponsors and numerous other employees.

“The World Cleanup Day offers a great opportunity to our Commitment to environmental protection to show on a global level. We are proud that so many of us Trainees and employees from Germany and Luxembourg “We participated actively and highly motivated,” says Barbara Sauter, Head of Personnel Development at Globus Fachmarken GmbH & Co. KG. Safety vests, gloves, garbage bags, buckets and grippers were used to ensure the safe collection of rubbish.

“An action like this makes you really aware of how much rubbish is lying around in nature – that made the trainees in particular think a lot,” says Barbara Sauter.
