UGC NET Result 2024 will be announced soon on ugcnet.nta.ac.in, Check Marking Scheme

UGC-NET result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the UGC NET 2024 result on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Many candidates who have registered for the UGC NET 2024 exam are eagerly waiting for the official results to be released. Once released, candidates can download their scorecards by logging in with their application number and date of birth. The UGC NET answer key was released on September 7 and candidates had till September 14 to file objections. Experts will address the objections raised to the provisional answer key and a final answer key will be published.

UGC NET 2024 Result: Steps to Check

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click the results link.

Step 3: Now enter your application number and your date of birth.

Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check the result and download it.

UGC NET June 2024 Result: Detailed Marking Scheme

– Each question carries two points.
– Two points are awarded for each correct answer.
– No negative marking for wrong answers.
– No points will be awarded for unanswered or unanswered questions, as well as those marked for review.
– Candidates have to select one option as the correct answer.
– If a question is found to be incorrect or ambiguous and there are multiple correct answers, candidates who selected one of the correct options will receive points.
– If a question is deemed incorrect and discarded, all candidates who attempted it due to human or technical error will be awarded two marks. Since there is no negative marking, candidates should choose the nearest correct option.

Candidates should note that there is no provision for revaluation/verification of UGC NET results. To pass the UGC NET exam, general category students must score at least 40% and SC, ST and OBC candidates must score at least 35%.
