Fantasy Football Week 4 – The NFL season is entering its fourth round and fantasy managers face important lineup decisions. Here’s an overview of the most promising starts, players who should stay on the bench and drop candidates for Week 4.

Top starts of the week.

CJ Stroud (QB, Texans) has a promising matchup ahead of them against the injury-plagued Jaguars defense. After two quieter weeks, the quarterback could get going again.

Brian Robinson (RB, Commander) Protects from the loss of Austin Ekeler and faces the Cardinals’ weak run defense. A top 12 finish is certainly within the realm of possibility.

Rashid Shahid (WR, Saints) should flourish again after his zero last week against the Falcons. With a consistent target share of over 20% and good performances against Atlanta in the past, he is a strong WR3 with upside.

Anthony Richardson (QB, Colts) has disappointed in the last two weeks and now faces the strong Steelers defense. Despite his potential, he can only be considered a QB2 this week.

Rashad White (RB, Buccaneers) struggles with efficiency issues and increasing competition from rookie Trey Bucky. Against the Eagles, he’s a risky RB3 at best.

Jalen Waddle (WR, Dolphins) Lives under the Dolphins’ quarterback problems and faces the strong Titans secondary. It’s hard to trust without Tua Tagovailoa.

Hunter Henry (TE, Patriots) faces a difficult matchup against the 49ers, who have allowed the fewest fantasy points to tight ends. There are better streaming options.

Promising waiver wire candidates.

Roschon Johnson (RB, Bears) Given D’Andre’s struggles, Swift could get an expanded role. In Week 3 he already impressed with 62 scrimmage yards.

Kendre Miller (RB, Saints) Returns from Injured Reserve in Week 5 and could become relevant if Alvin Kamara is potentially out. A speculative stash with potential.

Drop candidates!

Trevor Lawrence (QB, Jaguars) So far, he has been disappointing across the board and has not exceeded 220 passing yards or 18 fantasy points in any game. There are better quarterback options on the waiver wire.

To drop before week 5: Ezekiel Elliott (RB, Cowboys) sees his playing time and touches decrease week by week. In most cases it can be safely dropped.

With this information, fantasy football managers are well prepared to make decisions in Week 4. As always, trust your instincts and adapt your strategy to your league’s specific rules and scoring systems.
