Palworld receives new update for PS5, here’s what to expect

Some bug fixes have been described for the PlayStation version.

Palworld has been available on PlayStation 5 for less than a week, but the game has just received a new update on the platform. The latest version of the game is 0.3.8 and fixes some small bugs that players may have encountered. Unfortunately there is no really new content this time. This is the same update that was recently released on both PC and Xbox, so fans on those platforms won’t miss out. The full patch notes from the game’s official X/Twitter account can be found below:

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where buddies would sometimes get stuck at the base
  • Fixed an issue where the player character would go underground at the start of the game
  • Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes disconnect from the server when attempting to add a roof or wall to a large building

Even with these bug fixes, there are still many more things players would like to see resolved. There are also features that players would like to see implemented, including the addition of crossplay. However, Palworld Players should keep in mind that Pocketpair is a relatively small company; Therefore, it may take some time for some bug fixes and features to be implemented. The company also noted earlier this month that Nintendo and The Pokemon Company’s current lawsuit will require them to “spend significant time on matters unrelated to game development.” In general, there may be some delays with updates.

While Palworld was released on PS5 in most regions of the world, but the game is currently unavailable in Japan. A regional release date has not been set at this time, and Pocketpair has not yet offered an update on when that might change. An official reason for the lack of a Japanese release has not been explained, as the game is available on both PC and Xbox in the region. There was speculation that this could be due to Nintendo and The Pokemon Company’s lawsuit, but this has not been officially confirmed. PS5 users in Japan will just have to wait patiently for now!
