The Sims: Project Rene – New leaks cause disappointment among fans

Yesterday, new leaks about The Sims: Project Rene emerged, causing great frustration among the community. These leaks come from a small-scale playtest. As part of this, selected initial features such as UI, characters, outfits and gameplay mechanics could be tested. Although this test is considered confidential, a user shared the screenshots online. Fans make a devastating verdict on the upcoming multiplayer based on the images.

The new information about The Sims: Project Rene was met with little enthusiasm from fans at this point. Because as it turned out, it was <strong>Project Rene is not about The Sims 5</strong>. Instead, the title should be one <strong>Multiplayer title</strong> act. That’s exactly what the community wasn’t hoping for. </p> <p>Now there are screenshots of the title, which are also met with great rejection. For example, the graphics quality is described by fans as “grainy”, with the source attributing this to the early development phase of The Sims: Project Rene. Typically, graphical optimization was only carried out at the end of a development cycle. <br />Nevertheless, the fans were not enthusiastic. Instead, the community compared the title to The Sims Mobile. The leaked screenshots show items of clothing with price tags. However, since we also have to work a job in The Sims: Project Rene, it could be that we only have to finance new clothes with our wages. <br />Information from EA and Maxis could provide further information on this in the future. Currently, however, the Sims community seems to be assuming in-game purchases. A Reddit user makes a comparison to The Sims Moble and explains: “As far as I’m concerned <em>The Sims Mobile</em> I remember when I tried it a few years ago, this looks exactly the same. Even though the current screenshots do not represent the final product, the majority of the community seems to be concerned and frustrated.
