A man was arrested following a shooting at a home in Macon on Saturday, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

A 911 call was made around 3:30 a.m. about a person shot at a residence in the 3600 block of Mercer University Drive, the sheriff’s office said. When officers arrived, they found a 37-year-old man “suffering from a gunshot wound,” according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Paramedics took the victim to Atrium Health Navicent Hospital for treatment, where he was in stable condition. No one else was injured, deputies said.
