Hell is Us – 15 minute long gameplay video

After there was recently a gameplay trailer for “Hell is Us” (see here), a more detailed gameplay video now follows. There, creative director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête provides new insights into the game’s most important features, from the story to special design elements and the combat system.

Hell is ours – plot

The third-person action-adventure game is set in a fictional country called Hadea, an isolated and civil war-torn nation. Players take on the role of Remi, who was born in Hadea and returns to his homeland after many years abroad to find answers to his past.

Combat system

The game should not be considered a “Souls-Like” title. Instead, the combat system is designed to provide a balanced level of difficulty without being overly punishing. There are many different moves to master, while opponents’ attacks require adjustment. You can rely on various weapons and skills. In addition, a drone called KAPI distracts enemies or enables special attacks, making it indispensable in combat.
