Here’s how to watch coverage of Tuesday’s 2024 Vice Presidential Debate LIVE

Wondering how to watch special coverage of the 2024 election vice presidential debate between JD Vance and Tim Walz? ABC News announced on Tuesday, October 1, coverage of the 2024 election and the vice presidential candidates with special programming on ABC, the 24/7 streaming news network ABC News Live, Disney+, Hulu, YouTube, Roku, Amazon, Samsung TV and other platforms on , starting at 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. EDT (Wednesday, October 2). The ABC network’s coverage begins at 8:00 p.m. EDT with a one-hour linear and streaming special report titled “Race for the White House.” Immediately following the presentation of the CBS News vice presidential debate, which was simulcast on ABC News at 9:00 p.m. EDT, the network and streaming channel will launch a post-debate program with coverage and analysis of the vice presidential candidates, issues and the State of the debate provide the race.

ABC News Live will receive full day coverage leading up to the debate on October 1st. Primetime streaming coverage of “Race for the White House” begins at 7:00 p.m. EDT, hosted by Davisthen at 8:00 p.m. EDT, the channel will simultaneously broadcast the live pre-debate special, hosted by Muirfollowed by CBS News’ simulcast of the vice president debate with post-debate analysis immediately following the conclusion. “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” anchored by Raddatz, previewed the upcoming debate on yesterday’s show with the ABC News political team, reflecting on what impact it could have on the election and the presidential race. Additionally, U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.), a Republican in the House of Representatives who is filling in for Gov. Tim Walz during vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance’s debate prep, joined the show exclusively to discuss behind-the-scenes insights Preparations and what voters can expect in the upcoming debate.
