James on first season with his son: “A lot of anticipation”

The coming NBA season is number 21 in his career for LeBron James – and even before the first party, it’s very special. He has “a lot of anticipation” about the prospect of standing on the court with his son Bronny James Jr. in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey. There has never been a father-son duo in the NBA before.

His 19-year-old son started in his first season as a professional. “I’ve been in the league longer than he’s been old,” LeBron James said at the Lakers’ media day. He posed with his son for photos and interviews – it also became clear that there is still no rule as to how the son will address his father on the pitch. “Bron would be the easiest, I think,” Bronny James told a US television station.
