Ranvir Singh has expressed her feelings following the conclusion of the BBC investigation into Giovanni Pernice.

She has experience teaching Pernice, as the two worked together in the 2020 series. The 47-year-old said in rare comments she was glad Amanda Abbington had received an apology.

During her appearance on Good Morning Britain she was asked by Susanna Reid what she thought of the conclusion.

“I was pleased yesterday to see that the BBC investigation had concluded – it had been running for some time – and that it ended with an apology to Amanda.” “That made me happy,” she shared.

“I think it can only be a good thing that these additional welfare measures have now been put in place as a result of this investigation because ultimately Strictly is about a show that everyone should have a good time on.”

She concluded: “It’s entertaining, it’s enjoyable and everyone should have a good time regardless of whether they’re working on the show, and the audience at home should feel comfortable that that’s what everyone is experiencing.”

Professional dancer Pernice’s behavior towards actress Abbington, 50 – and her dance partner in 2023 – was investigated by the BBC and a verdict was handed down on Monday September 30.

The broadcaster apologized to Abbington and acknowledged some of her complaints against Pernice, 33, but cleared him of the most serious allegations.
