This is the start time – night owls can start early

If you feel like turning night into day and starting your monster hunt right at a suitable and eerily dark time, you’re in luck. The official launch takes place right at night.

  • Start date (CEST): October 8, 2024 at 1:00 am

The release will take place at the same time worldwide. If you are not in the CEST time zone, you can find your respective start time in the following graphic:

In addition to the add-on, for which you have to pay €39.99 in the standard version, you also get the big update 2.0, which contains numerous new features and improvements that also apply to the base game.

These include new active and passive skills for all classes and an extensive overhaul of the entire loot. Another big innovation is the new maximum level – this has been reduced to 60. To do this, you can now climb 300 Paragon levels.

At the same time as the launch of the add-on, season 6 also begins, with a new seasonal journey, a battle pass and a new preview board. You can complete the activities until the start of Season 7 at the beginning of January 2025.

The big new content is of course in the addon itself. Nahantu as a new region, the spirit-born as a new class and the continuation of the story. Plus new endgame content like the Undercity of Kurast or the new rune words.

You can read our test for Vessel of Hatred here on GamePro in the coming days and before the release – colleague Stephan has already fought through the expansion for you.

Are you still playing Diablo 4 and/or will you be checking back in when the addon launches? Are you excited for Nahantu and the new class? Tell us in the comments!
