On this day the game will be released for PC and Mac, but also for Xbox and PlayStation 5. The Xbox and PC/Mac versions are again included in the Game Pass.

Football Manager 25 Touch for the Nintendo Switch will follow on December 3, 2024, with further details to follow.

Football Manager 25 Mobile will also be available on mobile devices as a Netflix exclusive title from November 26, 2024. New additions include women’s football and the Premier League license, and scores can also be transferred from FM24 Mobile.

With Football Manager 25, the series switches to the Unity engine, promising “the biggest technical and graphical leap” in a generation. The user interface has been completely redesigned, there are more realistic graphics, new player animations and in the non-mobile versions there are also new additions to women’s football and the Premier League license.

“It is a great honor to confirm the upcoming release of Football Manager 25 today,” said Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive. “As I have said in interviews and development updates, the FM25 development cycle has been a challenge for the entire SI team.”

“FM25 is the starting point for the next 20, 30 years of our studio. And it is the point at which two of our long-standing projects come to fruition: the switch to the Unity engine and the introduction of women’s football. It’s a real sense of achievement for us to now be able to share our hard work with you, and we’re excited to show you more of the game in the weeks leading up to launch.

All in all, the studio wants to continue a record year with Football Manager 25, because according to its own information, Football Manager 24 was played by more than 14 million players on all platforms.
