Kate Moss confirmed in Paris: In autumn 2024 you should rely on bag trends with leopard print

Kate Moss: At Fashion Week in Paris she shows off a bag trend with a leopard print.

In the 1990s, Kate Moss became one of the biggest icons of her generation with her incomparable style and casual demeanor. Since the beginning of her success, the supermodel has continued to set new trends. After all, she is the one to whom slip dresses, leather jackets and biker boots owe a large part of their undisputed popularity. And the leopard print probably wouldn’t have experienced the fashionable hype without Kate Moss’ numerous looks. A fashion influence that the model still impressively demonstrates today.

Patterns and prints seem to be more popular in 2024 than ever before. While floral prints dominate the designs for Spring/Summer 2025 (floral patterns have been seen on numerous runways, including Loewe and Chloé), it is animal prints that are making the fashion difference this fall. Spots and stripes reminiscent of leopard, cow or zebra decorate transparent dresses, maxi coats and trench coats, tights, bags and shoes. Glenn Martens, for example, uses leopard print mixed with floral elements at Diesel, while Versace presented a mix of leopard and check patterns. At Jacquemus, zebra prints were instead presented on the runway at Villa Malaparte on the island of Capri, appearing on skirts and bags and combined with bright turquoise.

The maximalist aesthetic of leopard print, which has experienced a revival thanks to the Mob Wife phenomenon, is of course a far cry from the Quiet Luxury of last season. In autumn 2024, the trend will become more suitable for everyday use and can be found in the form of handbags, which can also be combined to create minimalist looks.

This has now been confirmed by Kate Moss, who was spotted during Paris Fashion Week with a simple black styling (including her typical essentials: biker boots and skinny jeans), which she combined with a large leopard print handbag. A model that is strongly reminiscent of a bag that the model wore back in the nineties with blue jeans and a simple top style.

Two looks that not only demonstrate the versatility but also the longevity of the bag trend – and thus predict that handbags with leopard print will remain a must-have for decades to come.
