There will soon be a reunion with well-known characters like Laura.

Silent Hill 2 is already 23 years old. It’s high time for the new edition, which will be released on October 8th for PC and PS5. However, the remake does not come from Konami, but from Bloober Team, known for titles like Layers of Fear.

If you are planning your return or first trip to the dark city with the Silent Hill 2 Remake, you can now check whether there is enough memory available on your PS5.

This is how much space it takes to download the Silent Hill 2 remake

As usual, the information comes from the X/Twitter account PlayStation Game Size, not an official source, but one that has almost always proven to be reliable in the past.

This is the download size: 50,535 GB. The information refers to version 1.001 of the game, and this could change again with a possible day one patch. However, this gives you a rough scale, which shouldn’t be surprising for the single-player horror game.

Silent Hill 2 is still not perfect, but it’s much better than expected

The original game was originally released in 2001 for the PS2 and lets you experience typical old-school survival horror with a fixed camera perspective. There is also a mysterious story that leaves some room for your own interpretation.

The remake should be based heavily on the well-known story, but also bring new additions. There are also stylish Unreal Engine 5 graphics and a third-person view.

In previews, the new edition did surprisingly well after very critical reactions to the trailer and gameplay material. Whether this good first impression turns out to be true will soon be in our test.

Did you expect this magnitude? Is there always enough free memory on your console or do you constantly have to free up something to download new games?
