visionOS 2.1 B3, watchOS 11.1 B3 and tvOS 18.1 B3

Trial versions are available for anyone testing developer versions. Apple is currently distributing visionOS 2.1, watchOS 11.1 and tvOS 18.1 – each in beta 3. Other systems are not currently receiving betas and the last release of iOS 18 for the iPad Pro with M4 chip is still missing.

There’s no information yet about what’s included in visionOS 2.1, but there are visionOS 2 features that Apple hasn’t released yet, like the ability to use a larger ultrawide screen for the Virtual Display.

There are also things missing from tvOS that Apple didn’t include in tvOS 18. In the future, the system will offer 21:9 support for playing films and series on projectors and new screen savers such as Snoopy. In addition, robot vacuum cleaners should be compatible with the Home app and have automations and usable scenes. It is not yet clear whether any of this will be included in the beta.
