SC Parschlag triumphs 2-0 against UFC Mariazell – Football Styria – results, tables and goal scorers from all STMK leagues.

SC Parschlag secured a deserved 2-0 win against UFC Mariazell in an exciting home game in the 6th round of the Mürz Regional League. The match started with a quick lead for the home team and ended with another goal in the second half. The guests from Mariazell were unable to take advantage of their chances and had to admit defeat in the end.

Early lead for SC Parschlag

The first goal of the game was scored in the 11th minute. After a well-placed corner, it was Sandro Krebs who headed the ball into the net, giving SC Parschlag a 1-0 lead.

This early goal gave the hosts additional security and they largely controlled the game. UFC Mariazell tried to respond with quick counter-attacks, but SC Parschlag’s defense stood firm and hardly allowed any dangerous actions. The first half was whistled in the 45th minute and the teams went into the break with a score of 1-0.

SC Parschlag makes the victory perfect

After the half-time break, UFC Mariazell came out of the dressing room with renewed vigor. The guests tried to equalize and increased the pressure on SC Parschlag’s defense. But even in this phase, the hosts’ defense remained stable and did not allow any clear chances.

The decisive moment of the game came in the 63rd minute: Günther Steindl took advantage of an uncertainty in UFC Mariazell’s defense and shot the ball into the goal unstoppably. This goal to make it 2-0 gave SC Parschlag the calm it needed to finish the game confidently. Despite further efforts from the guests, UFC Mariazell was unable to turn the tide.
