According to Israeli police, six people were killed in a suspected terrorist attack in Tel Aviv | World News

At least six people were killed and nine injured in a shooting and stabbing attack in Tel Aviv, Israeli police said.

Two gunmen began their suspected terrorist attack on the city’s light rail system before continuing on foot, officials added.

The suspects opened fire on a boulevard in Jaffa, a mixed Arab-Jewish neighborhood in southern Tel Aviv.

The two were then killed by civilians and inspectors with private pistols.

The attack occurred moments before a Massive rocket fire from Iran sent people to bomb shelters across Israel, including Tel Aviv.

Television footage showed the gunmen leaving a light rail station and opening fire.

IsraelThe MDA emergency service said it received a report of people injured by gunfire at 7.01pm local time (5.01pm UK time).

At the scene, paramedics and paramedics treated a number of victims with various injuries, including some who were unconscious, the MDA added.

There was no claim of responsibility for the attack, but Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said the suspects were Palestinians from the West Bank city of Hebron.
