Microsoft Office 2024 now available for private and business customers › Dr. Windows

Office 2024, a new version of Microsoft’s office package, is now available and can be used without a subscription. You can choose from Office 2024 Home and Office 2024 Home and Business.

Office 2024 Home includes the latest versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint for €149. The “Home and Business” version also includes Outlook for €249 (the “classic” version). These are the RRPs, but you will certainly soon find cheaper offers at the various online retailers.

The single-user licenses of Office 2024 entitle you to install the package on a PC or Mac. In order to push Microsoft 365 subscriptions and at the same time make the purchase version less attractive, Microsoft had already introduced restrictions in the last Office version. Previously, you could install the private customer version on up to three devices.

Office 2024 has a term of five years, until 2029. Microsoft guarantees the delivery of maintenance and security updates.

You can buy the new version in the official Microsoft Store, among other places. However, as already mentioned, it might be worth looking for cheaper offers in stores.
