Floating rings of light on the castle pond, LED light points that dance like fireflies in the meadow or a path that seems to have turned into water: these are just three of the nine glowing art stations in Kassel’s mountain park. As darkness falls, the UNESCO World Heritage Site is transformed into a large, illuminated exhibition area from Thursday to Sunday.

There is also a light show on the Hercules and illuminated Water features. These take place on three evenings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, an artist collective will once again transform the castle facade into a canvas.

The event attracted around 80,000 people in 2023. The organizer Kassel Marketing is expecting many visitors from all over Germany this year too.
