The college football season is in full swing and we are slowly approaching the more important games on the schedule. With the new 12-team College Football Playoff system, each game no longer means as much, but seeding is still at stake.

The Week 6 schedule brings some interesting matchups to the table. But which games are the biggest must-watches of the week?

Newsweek sport has You have covered. Here are the five games to watch this week.

5. Rutgers @ Nebraska

Neither team is ranked, but for this match we don’t care. Rutgers has looked good this season and will look to get another win. The Scarlet Knights are 4-0 this year and could make some noise in the Big Ten if they keep winning. Cornhuskers quarterback Dylan Raiola is a potential star in the making and it’s always exciting to watch him play.

4. No. 10 Michigan @ Washington

HOUSTON, TEXAS – JANUARY 8: The Michigan Wolverines celebrate after defeating the Washington Huskies 34-13 in the CFP National Championship game at NRG Stadium on January 8, 2024 in Houston, Texas. Washington and Michigan play…

We have a rematch of the 2023 National Championship game, so it had to be on this list. While the Huskies haven’t been very good this season, they face a much weaker Michigan team at home. It won’t mean much considering how last season ended, but it could be a feel-good story for Washington if they can beat the Wolverines at home.

3. No. 12 Ole Miss @ South Carolina

The Rebels appear to be the favorites in this game, especially after last week’s loss. But the Gamecocks have shown plenty of fight this season. They are 3-1 this year, with their only loss coming in a tough game against LSU. If they can beat Ole Miss, it could give them a boost in the SEC. South Carolina faces a matchup with No. 1 Alabama next week, so this game could give them some confidence if they find a way to win.

2. No. 11 USC @ Minnesota

The Trojans pulled off a huge win over Wisconsin last week to pick up their first Big Ten win. They will look to continue the good times on the road against the Golden Gophers in what could be a trap game. Minnesota is coming off a tough loss to Penn State and could be looking for some redemption. USC plays Penn State next week, so they can’t ignore Minnesota in this contest.

1. No. 9 Missouri @ No. 25 Texas A&M

This is the only matchup between two ranked teams on the schedule and will be an SEC showdown. The Tigers survived last week’s loss to Vanderbilt and will look to prove their dominance on the road. The Aggies won’t be an easy game for them as they enter this game with a four-game winning streak. If Texas A&M can get the win, it could be a big step forward for them in the SEC across the board.
