The results (sobering in German) do not yet match the old lady’s sometimes very good possession football. Now it’s time to prove that coach Christian Fiél has achieved the team that, in his words, “gives full throttle every day.”

And the whole thing happens on what is probably the most public stage the House of Commons has to offer. Saturday 8:30 p.m., live on Sport1, FC Schalke 04 invites you to dance under the floodlights in the Veltins Arena.

FC Schalke 04 got off to a turbulent start to the season, with Fimpel now the second trainer on the sidelines for this season. People in Berlin are a bit surprised. After mostly showing good performances away from home, they lost 3 of 4 home games in the Olympic Stadium – much to the displeasure of the fans. The last performance against Elversberg left many people a bit perplexed.
However, with another success away from home they could stay at the top before the international break. What is more of a hindrance is that the following players are missing: Reese, Gechter, Brooks, Dudziak, Karbownik, Bouchalakis and Winkler. The kicker creates the following eleven from the rest:

The line-up at the top is questionable, as Schuler doesn’t have too many arguments on his side at the moment.
