18 living spaces in the new Ried women’s shelter

The new women’s shelter offers 18 places, including six places for women and twelve for children. Each residential unit is functionally equipped and can be expanded to include additional rooms for children if necessary. The bright and friendly rooms create a pleasant atmosphere and offer women and children the peace and quiet they need to regain strength after traumatic experiences.

High security precautions

In addition to the structural protective measures, the women’s shelter is also characterized by technical safety precautions that offer the residents safety. The symbolic opening in the Team 7 world once again underlines how important the safety factor is. “With the new construction of the women’s shelter in Ried, we are taking another important step to strengthen our protective network for women and children.” Those affected must be able to live safely and without fear. “We want to give them a piece of home,” says Women’s State Councilor Christine Haberlander.
