Early musical education for your baby

Suki Waterhouse wants to share her passion for music with her young daughter. The 32-year-old singer recently released her second album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, and is now raising a six-month-old daughter with Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Speaking on the Broken Record podcast, Suki shares how important it is to her to infuse her little plans with great music. “I play her a lot of music – she loves Fleetwood Mac!” I often play Layla by Eric Clapton because my mother always did that for me. And then Mozart, because I’m convinced she’ll be a genius if she hears him. “It’s just sweet to watch her watching us at the piano,” she says enthusiastically.

Suki’s new adventure as a mother

The “Good Looking” interpreter, who is keeping her daughter’s name secret, also has big plans for her musical future: She wants to take her offspring with her on tour. Suki notes that her new role as a mother helps her to take life a little slower and say “no” to things. “It feels like I’ve found the key to a secret love club.” It’s the perfect excuse to structure my life better. Instead of constantly being on the go, being a parent gives me a reason to stay grounded. “I can go on tour now and she will just come with me,” explains Suki happily.
