The parish of Aigen celebrated two anniversaries with its pastor

Lovingly decorated tractors of the kindergarten children, the harvest crown, Abbot Lukas and fellow brothers of Schlägl Abbey, friends and companions as well as the large parish community accompany Pastor Wolfgang at the “Kranzl” parade in his church. Abbot Lukas found sensitive and humorous words in his sermon. He also expressed his wish that Wolfgang Groiss would continue to be pastor of Aigen-Schlägl for many years to come.

The mass was musically provided by various music groups from the parish. The official part of the parish festival was rounded off with a volley of honor from the citizen guard. Afterwards there was a cozy conclusion with food and musical entertainment by the local band in the clubhouse.

1,000 euros for the tower clock

As part of the Thanksgiving service, the Gold Hood Women presented Pastor Wolfgang with a check for 1,000 euros for the renovation of the parish church’s tower clock as an incentive for the Thanksgiving collection, which will be used for this purpose.
