Saturday night shooting in Bruceville-Eddy leaves two dead

BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas (KWTX) – Two people were killed in a shooting Saturday night, according to Bruceville-Eddy police.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at Mackey Ranch Road and Old Moody Road around 7:20 p.m.

According to police, at least three people were involved in the altercation, which they believe stemmed from an argument between the suspect and the victims.

One of those shot was a 38-year-old man who died at the scene.

The other victim was a 19-year-old man who was taken to Baylor Scott and White in Temple for treatment of his injuries. According to police, he died in hospital.

Following the incident, the suspect left the scene before being arrested at his residence and taken into custody.

Bruceville-Eddy police say the suspect and one of the victims are affiliated with the Cossack motorcycle group.
