The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrests three people as part of a drug investigation in Whitehall

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said it arrested three people involved in a drug investigation in Whitehall on Thursday.

They say they arrested Robert Periard Jr., 41, Robert Periard Sr., 54, and Priscilla Lancaster, 27, all three of Whitehall.

According to police, investigations revealed that these three people were involved in drug trafficking in Whitehall.

According to the sheriff’s office, the execution of a search warrant at her residence at 9850 State Route 4 in Whitehall resulted in the seizure of a quantity of crack cocaine, U.S. dollars, two unregistered handguns, an unregistered assault rifle and a pistol grip shotgun.

Periard Jr. and Periard Sr. were charged with:

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Three counts of third-degree possession of a weapon
  • Second Degree Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia
  • Endangering the welfare of the child

Periard Jr. was also arrested on a warrant from a Washington County Grand Jury indictment. Both were arraigned Friday at the Washington County Centralized Arraignment.

Lancaster was accused of:

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Three counts of criminal possession of a weapon
  • Second Degree Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia
  • Endangering the welfare of the child

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, they were assisted by the New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement (VGNET) and the Hudson Falls Police Department.
