Match reports

SC Dorfl

In a rousing game in the 2nd class middle (BGLD), the UFC Neckenmarkt impressively won 5-1 against SC Dörfl in the 9th round. The hosts dominated the action from the start and gave SC Dörfl little chance of finding their way into the game.

Neckenmarkt lays the foundation in the first half

The game began with great commitment from UFC Neckenmarkt, who set the course for victory early on. Botond Nemeth scored the opening goal in the 24th minute when he placed the ball precisely in the SC Dörfl net. The hosts’ joy continued because just seven minutes later, in the 31st minute, David Szanto extended the lead with another goal. The home team went into the half-time break with a comfortable 2-0, while SC Dörfl looked for a way to get back into the game.

Decisive moments in the second half

After the break, the UFC Neckenmarkt continued its dominant performance. In the 50th minute it was Botond Nemeth again who scored his second goal of the day and extended the lead to 3-0. The guests from Dörfl now tried to increase the pressure and in the 56th minute their efforts were rewarded with a goal from Marton Czimber, who made it 3-1. Despite this rebellion, Dörfl was unable to take control.

Instead, the UFC Neckenmarkt turned things around again, led by Roland Mundi, who scored the fourth goal for his team in the 78th minute and sealed the final score 5-1 with his second goal just a minute later. Mundi was unstoppable in this phase of the game and his two goals were the final proof of UFC Neckenmarkt’s superiority that day.

With the final whistle in the 90th minute, UFC Neckenmarkt’s clear 5-1 victory was certain, which not only secured the three points, but also strengthened the team’s self-confidence for the tasks ahead.
