According to an industry insider, the release date for iOS 18.1 has now been set. This is the appointment!


Apple Plant plans to release iOS 18.1 on Monday, October 28, 2024, according to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman. A key new feature of this update is the introduction of Apple Intelligence. However, this feature will not be available in Germany for the time being. Users in other countries will be able to access this long-awaited AI feature, while in Germany the launch is not expected until 2025.

For German iPhone owners, iOS 18.1 brings with it important corrections and optimizations. Fixed a performance issue on certain iPhone models caused by incorrect memory allocations. The messaging app also received improvements to prevent crashes when replying to messages.

The stability of the touchscreen on the new iPhone 16 models has been optimized, and the camera app, which crashed in certain modes, now works reliably. Potentially improved battery life is also among the changes, although experiences here may vary.
