A year ago, terrorists from the Islamist Hamas attacked Israel, killing more than 1,200 people. Jewish students read out the names of the dead in Berlin this morning.

They also reminded some who are still being held hostage by Hamas. How many of these people are still alive is unclear. Freeing them is one of the main demands in Israeli society of its own government.

Construction work on B10 near Karlsruhe

On the Karlsruhe southern bypass, the B10, drivers between Karlsruhe and the Palatinate have to prepare for a new construction site. The Alb bridge between the refinery and Karlsruhe-Maxau junctions needs to be renewed.
