A Clifton Park man pleads guilty in the 2023 shooting death of an Albany barber

A Clifton Park man has admitted manslaughter in the death of an Albany hairdresser.

Timmoure Miller, 19, pleaded guilty Monday in Albany County Court.

The shooting occurred on May 13, 2023. Tyrone Staley was killed.

Staley cut hair at Village Barber and Beauty on February 2ndnd Avenue in Albany. A 19-year-old man and a 9-year-old boy at the hair salon were also hit but survived.

The 9-year-old boy was the grandson of Reginald Graham, the barbershop owner and pastor. Graham previously told NewsChannel 13 that he believed the target of the shooting was outside the barbershop.

When he is sentenced on October 28, Miller faces 25 years in prison.

Dejoune Smith and Samir Princeton were also charged.
