The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is still a few months away and is expected to launch next year, probably in January. However, leaks and rumors about Samsung’s next flagship phones are increasingly appearing on the Internet. Previously, we came across leaks about the design of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Snapdragon processors in the standard Galaxy S25 models and much more. According to rumors, the latest development of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will not be equipped with an Exynos or Snapdragon processor, but with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor.

MediaTek is unveiling its next-generation flagship processor tomorrow, October 9th. The chipset will succeed the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC that powers many high-end phones like Vivo X100 Pro, Oppo Find X7, Redmi K70 Ultra and more. Well, the fact that this chipset is also available in the standard Galaxy S25 models is a surprise. An X user with the username “Sawtooth Special Edition” discovered this detail on Google’s blog about its “AlphaChip.”

The blog states: “External organizations are also adopting AlphaChip and building on it. For example, MediaTek, one of the world’s leading chip design companies, has expanded AlphaChip to accelerate the development of its most advanced chips – like the Dimensity flagship 5G is used in Samsung phones – while improving performance, performance and chip area.” Based on this, the Dimensity 9400 SoC is expected in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+.

What else do we know about the Samsung Galaxy S25?

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is expected to come with a more rounded frame, a 6.9-inch screen, thinner bezels and a lighter titanium frame. Additionally, it is rumored to have the same camera setup and battery as the Samsung Galax S24. The Galaxy S24’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. On the battery front there is a 4000 mAh battery with 25 watt fast charging support.
