Peter Salasya and Jalang’o laugh hysterically in Parliament during the Gachagua impeachment debate

Mumia’s East MP Peter Salasya, known for his light-hearted nature, couldn’t resist injecting humor into a serious parliamentary session.

During the debate on Vice President Rigathi Gachagua’s impeachment motion, Salasya entertained himself and his colleagues with jokes, even in the tense atmosphere.

In a short selfie video, Salasya filmed himself sitting next to Lang’ata MP Jalang’o and both of them shared a beautiful moment.

Salasya laughed hysterically and pointed at Jalang’o, who asked how serious the debate was.

“Daddy, daddy!” Salasya called out playfully to Jalang’o.

“Papa Salasya. What do you have to say?” Jalang’o replied, increasing the light banter.

Salasya asked with a cheeky smile:

“How do we vote?”

Jalang’o, still smiling, replied:

“Do you see how serious this is? Even Sudi came. Can you see Sudi?”

Salasya excitedly asked, “Where is Sudi?” As they panned the camera to show Kipseret MP Oscar Sudi entering the hall.
