When they met, Jackson was still a virgin

A particularly intimate part of the excerpt deals with Michael Jackson’s personal love life, particularly the fact that he was a virgin at the start of their relationship. “He confessed to me that he was a virgin. I think he had kissed Tatum O’Neal once, and he had something going on with Brooke Shields, but there had been nothing physical other than a kiss. He said Madonna had also tried to get married once. to sleep with him, but nothing happened.”

Pills ruled the King of Pop’s life

Lisa Marie also gives open information about the reasons for the relationship’s failure and reports how Michael Jackson’s increasing pill addiction caused the relationship to falter. Lisa Marie tells how “back then, Michael often went to the doctor. I picked him up and he was completely lost. I think they were Demerol injections. He said he needed them because of his scalp injury, but it was clear to me that There was a longer story behind it, something big.”

In the end, addiction won

Someone from Michael’s family had already told her back then that Michael Jackson was addicted to pills and had also sought treatment for an addiction in Switzerland. But the addiction apparently could not be cured because Michael Jackson was increasingly absent and no longer reliable as a partner, so Lisa Marie Presley finally filed for divorce in 1996.
