A double shooting in Baltimore leaves one fighting for his life


BALTIMORE, MD— Two men were hospitalized after a shooting early Tuesday morning in the 1200 block of South Haven Street in Southeast Baltimore.

The incident began around 2:15 a.m. when a 31-year-old man flagged down a Southeast District patrol officer in the 3100 block of Boston Street and reported he had been shot. Paramedics arrived and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shortly thereafter, at approximately 2:22 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of South Haven Street for another report of a shooting. There they found an unknown man with life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital and is currently in critical condition.

Preliminary investigation indicates both men were shot at the same location on South Haven Street. Due to the severity of the unknown man’s condition, homicide investigators were notified. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
