ST KILDA midfielder Jaimee Lambert will be cleared to play against Melbourne on Sunday after her one-match ban for rough conduct was overturned at the tribunal on Thursday.

Lambert called for her one-match ban for her rough tackle on Greater Western Sydney’s Alyce Parker during Tuesday night’s game, which was deemed careless, moderate and high touch by the match review officer.

Lambert took Parker down in a sling tackle in the opening seconds of the fourth quarter, causing Parker’s head to hit the ground.

The Saints argued for the charges to be dismissed and were successful at the tribunal.

“We are very pleased with today’s outcome and thank the members of the tribunal for their time and expertise,” said AFLW St Kilda Executive General Manager Tessie McManus.

“Jaimee has been an important player for us this year, so we are excited to have her available for selection this week.”

Lambert was among the Saints’ best players on Tuesday night, racking up 27 disposals, 11 tackles and eight clearances.
