Gordon Ramsay spit out Dua Lipa’s cucumber drink

Dua Lipa (29) caused a new Tiktok trend a few days ago. The singer mixed the “Dua Drink” from Cola Zero, pickle water and jalapeño juice. Among the many who imitate the drink on the platform is the English celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay (57).

Cucumber influencer Logan Moffitt (23) also tries the new trendy drink. Unlike Ramsay, he is enthusiastic about the bizarre mix.

TV personality Gordon Ramsay took on the challenge and mixed his own drink using Dua’s recipe. But with the first sip, the restaurant owner spit out the drink. “Dua Lipa, my God,” he screams, “you’re going to ruin your vocal cords like that.” He turns away from the camera with a laugh; Dua’s creation hasn’t won a new fan here.

Dua Lipa herself commented under the video with a laughing emoji: “Gordon!! You get lost in the sauce!!!» (English: Gordon, you’re getting lost in the sauce!). Did the celebrity chef not really listen to the singer? The soft drinks giant also suspects this: “Maybe you misunderstood the recipe, I have no idea,” wrote the Cola Zero account about the imitation attempt (German: Maybe you misunderstood the recipe, I have no idea).

Even if Gordon didn’t like it, there is still a new lover of the drink. The “Cucumber Guy” prepared everything on Tiktok that included the green vegetables. He can only taste the drink with pickle juice. And actually: Logan Moffitt (23) is thrilled with how good the trendy drink is. “If you like sweet and salty or sweet and spicy, this is for you,” Logan advises his 6.7 million followers.

In August last year, the hyped videos even caused a cucumber crisis in Iceland. The Icelandic supermarket chain manager Gudrún Adalsteinsdóttir tells “Spiegel”: “The cucumber salad trend has driven up demand. Because of the current shortage, we are now importing cucumbers from Holland.”
