In the pictures you can’t even see how compact the new power bank from Anker is. The Maggo Power Bank 10K for Apple Watch is just 95 millimeters long and just 51 millimeters wide.

The construction and design are known from the Nano Powerbank from the same company. If you put both of them next to each other, you’ll notice that the Apple Watch version is even shorter, but thicker than the Nano Power Bank.

Design and performance are right

The Apple Watch power bank has inherited the design with the integrated USB-C charging cable from the Nano Powerbank. When the plug is stored in the designated cavity, the charging cable forms a practical carrying loop. The charging cable is not only used to charge devices such as the iPhone or a digital camera, but also to recharge the power bank. Charging the power bank only took around 1 hour and 35 minutes in my test. Alternatively, the additional USB-C charging socket can also be used.

The maximum charging power via USB-C is 30 watts, and that for the Apple Watch charging station is 5 watts. The nice thing about the Apple Watch charging station is that it supports fast charging; an Apple Watch 10 is charged by 65 percent within 30 minutes. The iPhone 15 also charges quickly; I measured an increase of 50 percentage points here. The temperature of the power bank remains within limits. With 30 watts of output power, even the Macbook Air is crying out for energy. And in fact, the Maggo Powerbank 10K Apple Watch also performs well on the Macbook Air M3 with 26 percent and on the 11-inch iPad Pro with 35 percent.

Another highlight is the hidden display with information about the capacity and the current charging power as well as the approximate duration. The duration of the power output is of course only an extrapolation, but in my test it worked out quite well, at least as far as charging the power bank was concerned. You can then also see via the display that the Apple Watch 10 is charged with 4 watts in places, the iPhone 15 with 23 watts and the Macbook Air with 29 watts.

Recommendation

Among the power banks with Apple Watch charging space, the Maggo Power Bank 10K Apple Watch is definitely my favorite. From the iPhone to the Apple Watch to the Macbook Air, the compact power bank charges everything. And sometimes at top speed.

Anker has also refined the design, so the Maggo Power Bank 10K Apple Watch not only has a folding Apple Watch charging station, but also rubber feet. This protects the power bank and the table from scratches.
