Manuel Fellerthe Slalom World Cup winner, is facing one of the most strenuous phases of the year: the weeks before the start of the Ski World Cup in Sölden. In addition to intensive training, he is occupied by numerous commitments away from the piste. Sponsorship appointments, TV appearances and fashion shows are currently part of his everyday life. For Tyroleans who suffer from back problems, these days are often more strenuous than a day of racing on the slalom slope.

Despite the stress, white Fellerhow important these tasks are for his sport. “Without the sponsors we would be nothing,” he says, even though he is happy when these stressful weeks are over. Next week he will finally return to the glacier in Sölden, where the ÖSV men’s team trains.
